Pennsville Soccer Association - Player Code of Conduct



As a member of Pennsville Soccer Association (PSA), I pledge to uphold the following standards of behavior:

Respect for All:

• I will treat my coaches, teammates, opponents, referees, and spectators with respect at all times, both on and off the field.
• I will refrain from using foul language, arguing with officials, or engaging in any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination.
• I will acknowledge and congratulate my opponents after each game, regardless of the outcome.

Sportsmanship:

• I will play by the rules and accept the decisions of the officials without argument.
• I will win or lose with grace and dignity, never displaying poor sportsmanship or unsportsmanlike conduct.
• I will encourage my teammates and celebrate their successes.

Commitment to the Team:

• I will attend all practices and games on time and prepared to play.
• I will give my best effort in every practice and game.
• I will support my teammates and work together to achieve our team goals.

Positive Attitude:

• I will maintain a positive attitude and strive to be a good role model for my teammates.
• I will focus on my own performance and avoid criticizing others.
• I will accept feedback from my coaches and work to improve my skills.

Personal Responsibility:

• I will be responsible for my own actions and the consequences of those actions.
• I will communicate any concerns or issues to my coaches and parents.
• I will take care of my equipment and belongings.
